Does not to me.
Hey Eqbal, our regular fish go through copper or hypo treatments. (These fish are not considered fully qt and can still receive diseases from their fellow fish or new shipments).

The fully quarantined fish go through a 14 day observation period in hypo, and then if we encounter anything hypo does not treat, we specifically use medication to treat the specific illness. At the end of 14 days they are brought out of hypo and observed for another 14 days prior to being listed. If any illness is encountered, the timeline of the qt is extended until the disease is eliminated.

Sounds like in the 1st line they confirmed fish can be exposed at any time and are not considered fully QT?

I would just QT them again myself.

14 days observation is not enough time considering hypo does not treat some things and masks others.

I would ask questions like what salinity are the hypo fish at?

what everyone is really thinking......which vendor is this?

They are talking about two things: Regular fish (not fully QTd) and fully QTd fish.

Why put a fish through a bunch of meds and copper if they have no disease? Do we all get chemo even though we don't have cancer?
They have regular fish and then fully quarantined fish
Which is what the second part is talking about.
I would put fish through a proper quarantine because I’ve seen many people on here alone who do the observation and then are confused as to why their fish have ich a few months later after a high stress event.
Even for myself, I put a hippo through a month of copper; fresh water dip and API general cure and then another month in QT with no meds until my DT got ready and I’m pretty sure he has full flukes because I didn’t do the general cure right.
So yeah. I’ll avoid all that and do it right the first time
