Flow speed looks fine to me. A little more randomized direction of flow would not hurt though.

I have my Jebao pump on Else mode which is random. It does get some random flow every few mins. May get an extension on my return pump to hit that area because I plan to get more torches

Unless you have water pushing from the other side, the random flow will tend to still keep the tentacles laid over in one direction. Just moving at varying speeds which is still much better than constant.

Yeah the extension would point in the opposite direction of flow
