Does Velvet have a separate fallow period than Ich

I know the fallow period for Ich is 72-76 days but I read that Velvet (the quickest killer and what my tank had) has a much shorter life cycle and therefore a shorter fallow period...is this true and what is this Velvet fallow period if so?

I believe velvet is about 6 weeks. But don’t hold me to that lol.

ick- 40-50 days
Velvet 45-60 days.

Assure you are using the right meds for velvet as some ich med will not combat it
