So I usually test my Calcium, Alkalinity, Magnesium, Nitrate and Phosphate at the same time every Saturday with water removed prior to doing a water change. This Saturday I have been asked to work and will be leaving the house early. I will have time to do my usual water change but not my testing.
What I’m wondering is, if I keep some water back and do my testing when I get home from work will the fact the water has cooled affect my test results at all?

Temperature can impact the timing of color development of some tests, but it will have no effect on alkalinity, calcium, or magnesium testing.
