I used that doser for a while however my ONLY complaint about it is the bluetooth connection.

Do not attempt to sit across the room and make adjustments, the BT connection will cause all sorts of unpredictable results. I've emptied entire dosing containers, drained my ATO into my tank, drained my tank overnight (well as much as it would allow) about everything you can imagine has happened with that thing. Left alone it was a GREAT doser however anytime I made a change, it became common practice to double check EVERY setting, even settings I hadn't changed. I once spent about a week updating the firmware because I simply ran out of time restarting the process after each failure, until randomly it accepted the new firmware!

Tech support will advise you to purchase a bluetooth dongle and sit closer to the doser. Not trying to bash your purchase and hopefully they have made some changes, just PLEASE be careful with the settings until you're confident in the way it works. The unit itself and the packaging/accessories are AWESOME.

There is lots of data on NOT updating the firmware. I have a model that was just produced in Dec 17, so I won't be doing a firmware until I have a reason too. If you have a Mac, the bluetooth is perfect, just absolutely flawless. With a unit with this many options, its not going to be plug and play. I had an older Kore 5th for many years, what I found was user error almost every time. I can only imagine the new version will out perform the older version and any small glitches are probably worked out.

Yeah I had to use a mac and pc to get the settings to work, the Mac couldn't adjust the settings on the AWC page so I had to use the PC for that section. I had the newer version as well. I dont know, maybe mine was corrupted or something but the only user error I remember making was assuming that dose 10ml meant 10ml and not 12534ml.
