So I wasn't able to find my carpet anemone all day, I thought he might of somehow gotten into my overflow because he has been hanging around it, but it has a lid etc so I didn't follow up on my hunch to severely. Well I'm playing cod when I here a buzzing and splashing sound. The water was flowing over the top of a small drilled out section of the back of my tank...an spilling onto all of the electronics on the back of the stand. Now I think I fried my apex and two energy bar 8. Plus there is about ten gallons of water getting under my hardwood floors stretching from the tank to the laundry room and my office. Then im sittin there trying to figure out what happens and low and behold its my carpet anemone stuck to the drain inside my over flow. I have no clue how he got in there, but it has to come out so I had to manually remove it by sticking my fingers under it and slowly prying it off (this was a major PIA especially with those clumsy rubber gloves so I don't get stung and my large hands working in that tight space). It has not moved from where I put it in the tank so it might have gotten damaged also. Gonna keep an eye on it tomorrow. So to sum it up
Tank overflowed several gallons of water onto my hardwood floors
Water got in all rear mounted electronic, including apex, two eb8, and a separate powerstrip.
Might have killed an awesome anemone.
Who knows what else.
