Doesthis look like RB to you?

So I have seen Red bugs before, Yellow with the red butt, and i can tell if they're on a Acropora or not but does this look like red bugs to you? or just an iso pod?

I did dip the frag in Bayer, actually i overdosed it and that little bugger still did not detached itself, left it in there for 10 minutes! i just dont want to risk it

In my experience RedBugs are much brighter, but that isn't to say those aren't. If you have a good magnifying glass use it.

Look at the coral while its in water with a magnifying glass. If you have red bigs you will see them moving and hoping around much like fleas.
You cannot see them with your naked eye. If you do they aren't red bugs.

Haha I seen the red bugs we had with the naked eye. And they were red bugs cause well they were red and destroyed what few Sps frags we had at the time. Do daily dips, for a week-2 weeks with all Sps. We used coral rx and killed them off an managed to save 2 frags.

Bayer dip may kill the eggs but I know coral rx did not reason why did daily dips. Jus have to break the cycle.

You can actually see the Redbugs with the naked eye, but with a magnifying glass it would be a hell of alot better then squiting

If you have decent vision you can see them just fine without a magnifying glass.

They are actually yellow, with a red head. You can see them without magnification, but obviously magnification makes it easier.

I can't see them w naked eye you guys must have 20/10. Use a really bright blue led flashlight you will see bite marks/bugs moving around. Easiest way.

I never understood why people couldn't see them with the un aided eye. For me they stand out like flaming dots of joy

Same here, I could see them on an acro that was 6" into the tank. For what it's worth it's better to try to identify them in the water, I find it hard to see them on the coral out of the water because they crawl into the polyps.
