Hiding, by itself, is a pretty vague indicator - but it is an indicator that he's feeling not-quite-right.

What other fish are with him?
What do your water-quality parameters look like?
Has he exhibited other unusual behaviors; scratching, swimming into the flow of a powerhead?
Was he quarantined, treated for any of the more common maladies - ich, velvet, flukes or internal parasites?

Sudden changes of behavior in general indicate an issue of some sort.

Sudden hiding as much as you describe is most likely due to an ailment such as a parasite (velvet being the most common with this symptom), or tankmate bullying.

He looks healthy all water permaters are good still eats fine he's with a fox face and 2 clown fish

And he was perfectly fine for the first week swimming around and stuff but now he just wants to eat and go back to that spot idknif this is normal for puffers never had one before

It sounds like you don’t quarantine?

Any of the behaviors martiner mentioned apply?

No I do not have a quarantine tank and no he doesn't scratch or swim into power head flow he basically juat tucks him self into that coral peice and just sits there

Would using some melafix be a bad idea I don't see any problems with him but maybe its a bacterial infection idk would that hurt him just to dose some

Foxface's are sly, I wouldn't be surprised if he poked him and maybe intimidating him and you just haven't seen it. If parameters are good and no obvious signs of disease you'll just have to let it play out. It's obvious not bad enough to get in the way of a puffer and his food(lol). From what I can see he looks good enough, nice and round.

Mine sleeps in the rocks 1/2 the day, I've had him 19 months. He eats very well, krill in the am, clams or scallops in the evening. He's always done that. I think he's lazy. This pic is when my eel is hungry but he won't get out of bed. The eel is 20" long.

I'm not ruling out any illness. He, a clown trigger, and a purple tang were my original fish. They all went through 2 rounds of prazipro, and observed for 2 months after that. New additions now go through qt.

He's a great fish, after a few weeks he'd come to the glass and meet me. He's getting big, this was 6 months ago.

Can peazipro be added right to display tank or will it harm fish if not needed and can it be used maybe as a prevenative

You can add prazipro into the display, most fish handle it well as most of us use it in qt whether fish are showing signs or not. It is somewhat forgiving on dosage but try to estimate actual water volume considering displacement for rocks and such. Pull the cup off your skimmer, it will go crazy.
