Dog face puffer overgrown beak

So I purchased a dog face puffer from an online aquarium store and the dog face puffer I received today has an overgrown beak! How do I wear it down fast? Any tips?

Mine eats frozen cubes fully frozen which keep his teeth in check. If yours will eat frozen it’s worth a shot

overwise there are videos on YouTube to file them down.

Try crabs, or clams etc. Something with a hard shell it has to chop down on.

I’ve used a Dremel tool to grind them down, but you really need a fish anesthetic to do that.
Is the fish still eating normally?

Feed with roughed up stainless feeding tongs/tweezers. Make him work for the food. They’ll grind down and you’ll both enjoy it.
