The rock has been dry for a few years. That 3rd pic is rock that was kept inside an abandoned fish room but there is quite a bit of salt and dead organics in it because they let it dry completely Out with everything in it. I know all this because I bought the tank it was sitting in. There is probably about 150 lb of rock that was kept in that tank with some large basketball sizes and lots of pieces that are bigger than a softball.

I actually need to go by their again and look at those tanks sitting outside for a possible sump. I didn't check them out last time because I was busy buying a 240 gallon tank from them.
