This is a GREAT way to add a refugium to your system.... on the cheap. I do NOT need another one! ......... LOL

Getting a tank for a refuge? .. .kool..

I drilled mine.. it is a 20 long and is perfect... If you drill, don't drill it very close to the edges and be sure to use some soft flex in the plumbing because the glass is not all that thick. You don't want to apply tweak forces against the glass while you set it up..(I cracked one) .. else perfect.

Yup. Doing a refuge. I don't plan to drill. Not sure what the benefits are of drilling a sump/refuge tank?

I think it ususally lasts all month long, but if you want the 40b you better grab one when you see them because they go quick. They get shipments in all month long but they start getting to be slim pickings.

Thanks for the information on this. I just went and dropped $100 on some new tanks for a refugium and frag tank rack. I will be building the frame today and have a rack for my laundry/fish room that will have a 40B refugium on top, a 40B frag tank in the center rack, and a double shelf on the bottom for my new Phytoplankton culturing, copepod culturing, and brine shrimp hatchery. And have another rack for some equipment and hold my supplements and additives. This is going to clear up lots of room under my stand.
