One of our Sea Hares has been coming out in the "daylight" for the last week or so. They can almost always be seen with a flashlight after lights out when it is hard to get a good picture of them. I caught this one out today and took a couple of shots of it. This is the smaller of the two. They are both sandwich sized. I put a twelve inch ruler in the last shot for size reference.

Well... it won't win any beauty contests. Why do you have it? What is its food?

I've had a kind or brown "wafer" algae start growing in the 3 tank system. Tomoko knows what it is and recommended them to eat it. Between the sea hares and GFO reactors it seems to be slowly receding.

I recently learned that they are often found in a tide pool in Japan and a lot of hobbyists collect them to clean up cyano in their tanks.
