I have done the kitchen towel test and after 5 hours in sunlight the water was crystal clear.Does this mean i dont have Dino. This is a picture of the algae. Before this i had Briopsis and treated it with fluconazole.Could this be die off from that.

What’s your current parameters? fluconzole tends to be efficient removing nutrients and creating the perfect environment for dinoflagellates.

The pics does look like dinoflagellates, the only way to be 100% sure is by using a microscope.

Thank you should i treat with peroxide as a matter of course.I dont have a microscope.

I sincerly doubt flucanozole would remove nutrients. It’s an inorganic medicine for fungus. Not a phosphate/nitrate absorber or organic soup of bacteria or other nutrient consumer creature.
OP: it does look like dinos

po4 is the lowest colour on salifert test and nitrate is about 5 .The tank is very new, about 2 months.
