They are just like pit bulls. No matter how nice someone thinks they are, they will eventually snap and kill someone.
I had this guy in my tank for a month or so, did not have a mean bone in his body. But yesterday he went nuts. Chasing every fish relentlessly. Luckily one of my LFS let me borrow a fish trap and i got him really quickly. I guarentee he would have chased every fish to its death.
I will never recommend one.

I have never had a tank without one. One of my all time favorite fish. But i have always had larger tanks. Not sure if that makes a difference.

My 6-line isn't to aggressive but he's missing an eye so that probably keeps him from getting to crazy.

Mine is/was mean to 1 blenny. I have 2 of the same blennies but 1 was bigger and meaner then the othe. My 6 line kept chasing and nipping the small one real bad. So I put it in the 55 and transfered the bigger one to the 120 with the mean 6 line. The first time the 6 line took off after this bigger blenny the little **** real gave the 6 lie a good chasing and a few nips along the way. That was the last time the 6 line took off after a fish.

I hate to do this, but seeing as I am on my 4 and 5th pitbulls, that is a horrible discrimination against the breed. They are not all like that. There are bad people who do bad things to these dogs due to their willingness to please those dumb **** people and their extraordinary strength and it gets them in horrible trouble. I can gaurantee you that 99.9% of pitbull attacks are by dogs that have been mistreated or taught to be nasty.

I can go on forever about this, but I won't. Sorry, but I couldn't resist after that statement you made.

pit bulls are born with an instinct to kill. They may have great owners and things may never happen but they still have that instinct. I have another dog besides a pit and since she was 4 months old when she sees a bird, she points. She has never been taught this, but it is an instinct

It is a big deal. Those kind of statements are exactly how breed specific laws get put into effect.

Sorry if i insulted some pit bull owners, but unfortunately their reputation precedes them. Its just funny to see people pack up their stuff and their dogs at the dog park when someone with a pit bull shows up. I am sorry guys but you just dont hear of Golden retrievers or Rhodesian Ridgebacks killing people running past their house. There was a story not to long ago down here where a lady was washing her pit bull that she had from a puppy and it snapped and killed her in front of her little girl.
Once again i am not trying to offend anyone has a pit bull, but their track record is not to good.

Totally agree Beaut. People aren't just making this stuff up because we want to pick on Pit Bulls.
