After posting a video of my 2 torches looking very happy waving in the flow one has decided to do a full bail out.
Why. 3 other heads look fine.

i feel that! few of my SPS started to bleach/STN… it was my reagent going bad..got confident that i still had enough liquid that it wouldn’t go bad

So lost both heads on a 2 head torch. It was very happy until it wasn't.
Things started to fall apart when I started chasing lower NO3 numbers.
I have been dosing NOPOX at 4ml per day and Phosphorous to get PO4 above ZERO to give NOPOX a chance to work. My NO3 is now hovering in the high 30s instead of pushing 50+
But was this worth the loss.
Since chasing lower NO3my losses are
Duncan
Torch
2x Hammers

I currently have Frogspawn, Hammer and another Torch that all look fine but for how long?
All softies seem happy (mushrooms, Zoas, Coralimorphs, Xenia.
Starting to lose faith in the tank.

Honestly, What caused the polyp bailout, probably happened weeks to months ago. As you stated, They often times look fantastic, until they don't.

Some of these have listed higher NO3 (54) and (20-40) - so... idk maybe they were fine... reefing is a mystery of opinions..
