well you see the marlins is a baseball team and their mascot is a marlin so...

the biggest problem i see with this is that we get a lot of sun and algae likes sun...

How about the foul balls off of the backstop? That can't be good for the fish. I am all for the fish tanks, just not there.
 
Besided the point that only the high ticket seats will be able to enjoy the aquarium there, why not put it somewhere everyone can enjoy it at the park. Inside the main gate or something would have made much more sense.
 
From what I read there will be a bullet proof glass in front of the actual tank so a foul ball will not be an issue. Hey if they keep it clean and the fish healthy then I say go for it!
