My tank is fine it's my 50 gal dual refugium it's got calaupra & chaeto and it's covered in spots by tons for slime algae. Should I I take out the chaeto and shake it off 8n a bucket or Kusturica let it grow cuz idc if it looks ugly long as my sps frags are happy!

Hi, I have had cyano problems in my thank twice, for over feeding.
The first time it got out of control, the sump and tank had it. I removed as much as I could by hand and used chemiclean to get rid of it. It work nothing seems stressed and I had no casualties.
The second time I just noticed in the sump. I removed what I could by had did a big water change and it went away. I took my cheato out of the sump and in a bucket with water from the water changed, removed what I could by hand.
Haven't had any problems with it in a while.
Good luck
