So I am thinking of going to my local Asian market for some food for my tangs. Are there a lot of options, what exactly is best to ask for? I assume there may be a language barrier so I am trying to know exactly what I need before I waste money on things I can't use.

Non seasoned NORI pretty cheap for 10 bucks you can get 50 10x10 sheets just be sure it is unseasoned and yes there will be a language barrier lol

Are there different colors? I keep reading about purple, green etc...

there are , but the standard green is most popular and all you really need . I feed that and macro's from my fuge they go crazy over it

Sounds good. What algae are you growing in your fuge that they like? Would be nice to have a dual purpose algae growing in there
