So last night I unplugged my return pump to feed the tank and feel asleep. This morning I realized what I had done the tank was down to 73. The fish seem fine, I have mostly zoas with a couple of LPS and one SPS.

How bad is it gonna be? Is there anything I can do to help mitigate the damage?

If fish are fine and swimming, just plug it back in and let it warm back up. Should be okay

And don't forget to plug in the pump after feedings :)
I think even AC pumps should have a 10 minute feed mode
Time to DIY a timed relay!

This may go ahead and make me buy a controller of some sort. The temp is slowly coming back up. Still can't believe I did that.

This was a gradual shift in temperature, it would be a bigger deal if you went from 78 to 73.
I'm sure everything will be ok!

Good to know, I was kinda surprised it was still that warm, I keep the house really cold. Figured 9 or 10 hours without heat it would have dropped more than 5 degrees.
