when you get a new coral, put it in the tank, look at it for a couple weeks, and then it goes MIA. I just realized I can't find my UWW rainbow monti. It was sitting on my frag rack last time I checked on it, and now I can't find that sucker anywhere. I'm going to start building my frag racks like cages so once the frags go in, they can't come out!

My favorite was coming home from a weekend at IMAC only to find my flamethrower chalice frag plug with no flamethrower chalice frag on it

Just tore the tank apart for my Rasberry Sherbert acro luckily it was still alive.Emerald crabs are the devils

Snails can pop glued corals off frag plugs as they graze, scary as I have a small Flamethrower and a few others that would be greatly missed. Gorilla and Stone Crabs have taken their toll in the past, pulled out a piece of lr to get crab out and it sounded like a maraca due to all the dead coral skeletons and snail shells rattling around inside.

My favorite ever Lunar Eclipse zoas, (Not up to par with the crazy zoas on this site, but still my favorite) grew from 3 polyps to 11 in about 3 weeks. I moved them, and a week later I took a look at them... Like 3 amphipods were swarming them! 9 were already gone, and the other 2 polyps were being eaten in front of my eyes... They then moved onto my Devil's armor. :cry:

A fellow reefer stopped over and gave me a Green purple rim monti. 5 mins after I added it we are just Bs'n and see this Big black tip ******* start pulling the monti. Now mind you I have been waiting months to catch this thing. After the first 3 months started running out of ideas. So I made a spear from a doll rod.

WHAMM! Got it.
I lost a few corals from this crab.

I just lost about 15-20 polyp frag of some fire and ice zoas only 2 left on the fRAg plug

I saw my hippo tang carrying around my frag of Oregon tort in it's mouth. I couldn't believe it, it looked like a dog with a stick in it's mouth. Of course when it dropped it he was at the back of the tank. It to a whole new aqua scape to get it out.

It took me over an hour to find a missing ATL chalice today....it is sooo frustrating.
