Overflow box is staying consistent and does not make much noise. But coming from the Bulkhead into the sump surges and gurgles making a lot of noise any suggestions?

How low does your drain go below the waterline in your sump? Pictures of your setup?

Top of the drain is higher than the over flow. It came as a kit so I did not trim anything.

Looks like a clean set up but I was referring to where the pipe from your drain line enters your sump. How deep does the main drain go below the water line? Circled in red on my pic:)

From bulk head to sump the hose is about 4" under water inside the filter sock.

I would first trim that a little bit shorter to stop about 1-1.5" below the waterline and see if that helps. And thank you for the pictures :) Also do you have a valve of some kind on your main siphon?

Shortened with no change the water seems to have lots of air, it bubbles like crazy in the filter sock. Drain just has a small hole with a tube stuck in it so not adjustable.

I have the same problem with an aqueon. I've tried adjusting the hight of the overflow and building a bubble trap to cut down the air going into my fuge. Have you found a solution? I wonder if a needle valve on the bleeder tube would work.

Any updates on this? I set up a 125 for my son and it’s surging like crazy.
