Dory in a biocube?

Your clowns go in a circle around the whole tank because the tank is small, the size of an anemone in the wild... A flame i wouldn't do in anything any less than 55gal. Theyd also get aggressive being cramped
Thank you

Any suggestions on a color fish that might work?

Dang there are a lot of people. Why did I know this would happen. That’s all you ha e to says is DORY or TANG. Peeps turn into Puranas. Lol

So your reason for the post is to start drama? The way I see it is you didn't get the answer you wanted so now you have to insult. Everyone here has been helpful, no one was demeaning or calling you names. Attitude came out since you wanted to dish it. So now your getting a fish suggestion that's very colorful but that makes you upset?

Dude why are you being a child. I have asked many questions on this forum if I want to be a jerk I would have made a fake account or something. Just chill man. Your the only still going on about this.

I had you ignored to stop the drama

Thank you sir

Well it seems you are asking silly questions about fish you know you can't put into a tiny tank. LiveAquaria has great info on tank size for every fish you can think of, and no one to give "attitude". I feel the royal gramma response had no negative connotations. Firefish are small and colorful. There are some very pretty damsels. Wrasse are another group of fish that like to move, and move quickly. I feel like you may be trying to be difficult, people are trying to help.

My clowns go in a circle around the whole tank.
You tank is like a foot long. Of course they circle it. Much smaller than usual territory, but not too bad. All tangs have a territory the size of the nearby mall. a foot doesn't cut it with them.

Im already in the hobby thank you and down a$1g.
yep. welcome to the hobby. very expensive and choices are hard and not always what we want. even with our *VERY BEST* intentions things die in our expensive environments, so when opinions are obviously going against the experienced people here they get a mouthful. period. If you searched on this tang you already knew what the advice was, so by posting you are being a bit argumentative or else you are naive. Either way it is your decision to put dory in a cube, but it will cause you problems and be the death of the fish, and maybe your clowns too. Really.

What about a flame angel?
I'm assuming you have a 30gal (ish) biocube? one flame angel with clowns might work. The flame angel might also become a jerk to the clowns and/or eat your coral. Hard call. You would be maxed out at fish at that point.

I didn’t know that wrasse move quick. Live Aquria say six line wrasse is 30mini. Sorry I was just checking?

I had a 1.5 inch "Dory" in a 39 gallon QT tank for 6 weeks. It was way too small. I could tell she needed to swim. She's in the 265 gallon and 2", but I'm worrying about when she's full grown. I'd only consider a biocube if it was a qt tank and very temporary. I formed this opinion after watching the fish and how it acts. Our pediatrician has a 7" Dory in a 150??? It is just sad. I'm not trying too be mean, just stating honest observations.

And no one is being a "pirahna". Good luck. :)
I m not calling the people talking mean fish. I made a joke because I have never seen more than4 people on. A post.

I asking about a FLAME ANGEL? Or a colorful Wrasse?

A flame angel will not do well in a biocube. The only wrasses I would put in a tank that small would be Pseudocheilinops ataenia or a wetmorella.
Buy fish that you can keep and care for long term. It is better for both you and the fish that way.

Much thanks sir

That would be a good choice then. I have a 120gal and have had 2 wrasse dart into the glass/rocks and injure their spines...I don't know a lot of specifics with small tanks. I always refer to LiveAquaria if I am curious on care.

Thank you. All I have is the websites and some lie. That’s where I got the flame angel idea from lfs website said 30. But I understand. And same for the wrasse. Thanks

What size biocube? That will determine what beautiful fish to put in there. What else is in the tank?
