Dorys tail

I have a blue hippo tang what keeps getting its tail nipped does see any aggression so idk what it could be tank mates are a chromis and a maroon clown but the clown doesn’t bother her at all and the chromis stays hidden. What else could be happening

Hmmm, the chromis is a green? They are pretty docile, but I have seen them nip occasionally. I know the maroon is fairly aggressive for a clownfish. I'm purely guessing that this is happening while the lights are out. So you never see it happening.
