Hi all. I set up my DOS pump for auto water changes. However in the apex task program the diagram shows the pump head rotating in the opposite direction to each other. Mine are rotating in the same direction. I've searched extensively to see if I forgot to do something but can't find any information. Is this the way its supposed to be? If I don't have the tubing set up the way the task program shows I'm unable to use that option. Anyone know what's going on? Thanks

they go in the same direction when you calibrate. they go in opposite directions to one another when they run. THe diagram is correct.

You don’t have to run the DOS this way, it is just that the wizard sets them up like this. Left head to run normally and add water, right head to run in reverse and remove water. For this reason they tell you to set up the right head with the RO lines attached in reverse.

The issue with this is that you can’t then calibrate the right pump as calibration works the normal direction. The way to address this is to plumb the two heads the same way and instead of using the Wizard’s code to have the right head remove water, configure it to add water. The way to think of this is that you are adding water to the waste, not to the tank. You could always swap the lines over on the right head, calibrate and then swap them back, but adjusting the configuration avoids the need to do this.

Yea this is the issue I had with having to switch the lines for calibration. Thanks for another way to do this.

Personnel I need to program the DOS to dose 35ml of a medicine every 48 hours but I don't know how to do this program, if anyone can help me I appreciate it. (I don't normally do this, but I have a trip scheduled and I would not like to interrupt the treatment).
