I have my DOS configured for 2 part dosing. Everything seems kosher in fusion. Uploaded with no issues. My fusion dashboard says it's dosing as per the intervals. The DDR is showing that fluid is being dispensed. The problem is the pumps are not actually activating. The dos is connected to the eb8 with the supplied aqua bus cable.

Anyone running the dos/DDR on their system know what's going on here?

Thanks.

Sounds like it could be a problem with the DC power supply. Do you have any way to check it?

It's got power. The brick has a green indicator light which is illuminated. If I unplug the power is goes out. If I plug it back in it illuminats green once again indicating power is there.

I should also say that the pumps calibrated flawlessly. If there was a power problem would it hold that pressing the pump activation buttons on the unit would result in nothing happening with the dosing pumps? When pressed, the pumps work just fine.

Yup, not a power issue then. Really odd they would calibrate but not pump.

Ok... this one is a head scratcher: I plugged it into another outlet and it's now dispensing. I sat there and watched. What I don't get is this... the outlets work fine and supply power. The outlet that I had the dos plugged into I switch out with a powerhead that was plugged into the same duel outlet. Both have power and work just fine. It's as if the dos didn't like the outlet is was plugged into and refused to work until switching places with the powerhead plug.... spooky.

That is very strange. Have you tried switching it back to see if the problem returns?
The EB8's use electronic switching to turn outlets 1-3 and 5-7 on and off which can cause some strange issues. Outlets 4 and 8 use mechanical relays and are much simpler if there is a problem.

That's the strange part. It was never plugged into the eb8. It's a regular wall socket. Neptune says it makes no difference where the dos is plugged into for power, but that it is run to the eb8 via an aqua bus cable for communication purposes.

Ah, I thought you switched the power cables, not the communication cable. That really is odd. I run my DOS plugged into the wall and connected to the EB8 also.

I never touched the communication cable. What I switched was the power plug (which has always been plugged onto a duel outlet sharing with an extra power head) into another wall outlet. I just switched around which plug powered the powerhead and which plug powered the dos.

You need both the aquabus cable and the power pack. Hopefully doing that will fix your issues.
