I have my DOS set up for AWC and today found a leak on the in outlet on both sides... tried to tighten, doesn’t seem to help. I’m not sure if the installer used your tubing or some other.

Any thoughts suggestions would be greatly appreciated, it under the tank in the cabinet and I have turned off the DOS and water in and out for the time being.

Thanks

It could be the tubing doesn't have an air-tight fit. Remove the tubing from the connector, then soak it in a cup of near-boiling water to soften it before reconnecting.

It could also be a damaged pump head. Pop the head off the DOS and examine the silicon tubing inside the head to see if it is torn.

Some people also replace the stock DOS connectors with John Guest push-connect fittings:

I'll second the suggestion of John Guest fittings. Although like the stock pieces they may still allow small amounts of air to enter the lines now and then, they're overall much more secure and also easier to work with than the original pressure fit connectors.

I assume the 1/4” x 1/8” is the correct size?? For this application

Yes the one he has pictured is the right one. :)

Thanks
I took the gray fittings off today and found the lines had split (3 of 4) at the ends. I cut off and reattached but think the John Guest fittings will be better. My guess is this rigid line will crack again.

Thanks
