Hello all, just my luck.
I got a trident, to help me optimize my dosing, and my DOS decided to stop working.
The unit is on, the light still shows that it's "operational"
If I press the buttons, the light turns white to indicate that the pump is turning, except it's not.
The light comes on when the DOS is scheduled to dose, but pumps don't move.
On my Apex Fusion it still shows the mL of additives dosed.

I'm so confused. It's just not working for no apparent reason.
Hasn't been used for that long.

Should note that I did remove the pumps to clean. Stopped working when I put them back in.

What do you mean you removed the pumps to clean?

Removed the pump cap heads, you mean? If you remove the caps, and hit the manual advance, does the cross-spindle, spin?

Yeah that’s what I meant.
No, they don’t spin if I take them off and hit manual advance. I don’t hear any noise coming from it either.

Did you ever figure this out? I’m having the exact same issue.

This will happen if the power supply is not connected or bad. If the DOS just has an aquabus connection it will power up and communicate and appear to work, but if it doesn’t have power from the power supply the pumps won’t actually move.

If you have it connected with a 1Link cable then it should get power through the 1Link module, so it doesn’t need an external power supply, but it’s possible that module could be having a power supply issue as well.

So I have the same issue but did not dissasemble mine. Just stopped working exactly as above. I run the thing through the 1link and it has always worked. I have two pumps and the one down stream works so it doesn't seem to be a power supply issue? Any other thoughts as to why both sides of the pump won't turn. Lights on, thinks its working but no turning of the pump heads?

Power supply is bad. I had the exact symptoms and luckily I had a spare from another DOS that made it work again.

Ok I'll look into that and see if I can replace

Just had this exact problem.
You're right, the power supply. System still lights up due to aquabus. Replaced PS, everything good.
Thank you!
