DOS pump question

Considering a dos pump. I have no separate sump. With dos pump Mounted below, will it have adequate power to pump “up” to my aquarium?

According to the Neptune forum - the DOS should be mounted above the water line - of the sump - or the tank you're dosing. (Or at least above the ends of the tubing) The reason given is that a siphon can develop if a head fails.

The dos could pump probably 20 or 30 feet
