I got a bad motor its making all kinds of noises and stop work on me. I just happen to be walking by it and noticed one of the heads wasnt spinning I was able to get it working again. By putting pliers on it and spinning it. Dont want to use it anymore dont trust it. I googled the part number on the motor but couldn't find it. Anyone know where I can find a replacement motor. I use it for auto water changes and dont really want to go back to manual water changes.

Its 3 years old so no warranty.

Might still be able to get replacement parts at a lower cost then buying a new unit. Only other option would to be replace the whole thing ?? I’d at least contact customer service and see if you can buy the part directly from them

I'd be shocked if you could find parts from Neptune.

Typical to peristaltic pumps with plastic gears is that the gears get stripped. Are you sure it's the motor and not the gears? I'd open it up and if you find it is truly the motor, look for any identification numbers as to who made the motor and see if you can source it. If it's the gears, I never had luck finding the right plastic gears. Let us know how you make out.
