DOS with John Guest fittings

My Neptune DOS with John Guest fittings won't hold a prime. It looks like a common problem with these fittings if not paired with the right tubing.

I think I'm using the right tubing but I don't have the original tubing or connections.

I have 1/4" polyethylene for RO. If there is a different specific tube from a specific source that's going to work, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Never had a problem. apply Teflon tape to the treads on the dos head before you spin on the JG fittings If you haven’t already.

It's leaking where the tube enters the fitting. Not at the threads.

I ordered new tubing through BRS and the leaking stopped. The tube i replaced was also polyethylene but it looks like it's ever so slightly larger than BRS's.

Glad it’s working now. Much better than that kinked up soft tubing.
