I have two Doser Pump units, I couldn‘t get either one to to work with a consistent dosing. I recently tried resetting one up, and took the check valves out. I’ve been testing it for a week, and all looks good. BTW I’ve tried the Check Valves on the inlet, outlet side of the pumps and at the tubing ends where the solution dumps into my sump. My Dosing Container is at the same level as my sump, dosing pumps are above container, on a bracket. There is an air gap between my tubing ends and my sump water level.

You don’t need a check valve with most dosers, since they use peristaltic pumps. The rollers in the pumps keep a siphon from being formed.
