Guys, I got a doser from eKoral, completes my equipment needs. However, i am not sure how to connect their super small diameter tubing to my dosing container and return bracket. Dont know the diameter of this tubing line, but it slides inside the rodi tube, semi-snug, not tight, not loose. Is there an adapter that I can use to connect this doser tubing to push connectors both for the container as well as the disbursement bracket? Here are the pics. Sorry if this is too basic, first reef tank, never dealt with dosers before. Many thanks guys.

I hate to say it but they likely sell smaller diameter push fittings or wider exterior tubing with the same interior diameter opening as the ecoral kit.

Is the larger tubing almost big enough to push the smaller tubing inside of it? Near boiling water might help to soften the tubing. When it cools it'll harden and be near permanent as long as you got enough pushed into it.

Good luck!

Thanks for your help. I dont think that push to connect adaptor is going to work, as the dosing tube that came with eKoral is super small diameter, the inside is prob 2-3 mm, I dont think I can stretch it to fit that tube stem and barb connector. I was looking on BRS, they have the same item as above, 1/4mos the smallest they have too.

my idea was to push the soft tubing over the barb, use a small zip tie to secure. then the 1/4" union would connect to the other end of the barb, then your 1/4" rigid tubing would connect to the union to your dosing tube holder.

I see what you mean! Thanks. I have ordered those barbed murlok adapters from BRS and I have a few unions to check that solutions, once the shipment arrives. Thanks again.

Hi

yes, the solution was actually right in front of us. Very simple. eK Doser came with these hose adapters. They are a perfectly snug fit inside the barbed side of the mur lok stem adapted above. The other/smooth side of the stem adapter fits great as well. Here is a pic. If you dont have the small hose adapter pictured, here is a link to thingiverse where you can 3d print them (in any size). Hope this helps.
