My doser fell in the sump today and was acting crazy. I took it apart and took the motherboard out and put it in a bowl of rice. It works now so give it a try if it ever happens to you.

Nice save Travis. It's worked on a cell phone before but I would have never thought about a doser...lol. Congrats, but keep an eye on it for a while to make sure it's functioning properly.
Yes, and it was done.
Ran good for a few months but then the ALK came on and never turned off again.
Good thing I was just messing with my ATO other wise close to a gallon of ALK would have been a 100% disaster.
When that happened I took my CaRx out the box and never looked back.
Don't scare me like that...
Program the Power supply outlet for the DOS to only be on a few minutes before and after your scheduled dosing times for a safety backup
Whenever a device falls into a liquid, especially saltwater, it's best to thoroughly rinse it in distilled or ro/di water BEFORE placing it in the rice.
like its losing suction and falling back into the container? I had this problem finally noticed what was happening it would loose suction only sometimes depending on where the roller landed in the head with a brand new dos and couldn't figure out why my dosing was all messed up and causing all kinds of problemsGot any tricks for the airline hosing not holding the liquid

IT wasn't fully submerged or really even that wet. It's had a little bit inside but not like pouring out
Yes falling back into containerlike its losing suction and falling back into the container? Its probably the head letting in air look at the zip ties inside of the head(is it randomly loosing suction depending on where the motor stops?), Also could be the tubing cracked under the thread comprerssions have had this when using the wrong kind of tubing like the 1/4 plastic hard line like on your ice maker
