Would love some recommendations on which dosing options I should look at. I skipped testing and manual dosing last night. Ran my test today and I was at 6.7dkh and 380 calc. I've never dropped so low. Time to automate so being so worn out after work and going to bed early doesn't effect my tank.
On a positive note I don't see any stress in coral but I've never seen my alk drop so low. I confirmed my hanna checker with a red sea kit It was so unexpected.

When I decided to get a doser (which definitely helped automate and stabilize my tank), I wanted something simple. I ended up with a Kamoer X1 (now there's a Pro version and a competitor - I forget the brand) that can dose 1 solution. I use Tropic Marin's All-For-Reef (takes care of Ca, alk, Mg, and trace elements/minerals in 1 solution). BRS's "make your own" is relatively cheap, and Tropic Marin makes a powder (you have to order it from Germany on eBay at present from what I've read but it is eventually coming here) which is even cheaper. It is more on the expensive side compared to calcium chloride and sodium carbonate (2 part).

Other people use 2-part and a 3 or 4 motor doser - this is more flexible, but also more complicated. Hope this helps!

I use the Neptune DOS for dosing things that I need absolute accuracy (in my case that is NOPOX) so I do not overdose or if I need to shut it down remotely. For me, the DOS is too load to use it for anything I dose more regular.
I then use a CoralBox for 3 part dosing and dosing Kalk. The CoralBox is actually quite accurate and very impressed considering it low price. I find the CoralBox needs calibrating every few months whereas the DOS does not seem to lose calibration.

I started with the coralbox wifi dosing pump and it works perfectly. I decided to go the trident/DOS route but since the DOS only has 2 pumps I still use the coralbox for magnesium and amino acids.

Alright thank you all I'll get some research in and pull the trigger I hope this weekend.
