Doser setup (help)

I have a doser and my 4 SPS frags consume 10 mL calc and 5 mL of alk per day. Should I have the doser dose 5 mL every 12 hours of calc or 1 mL every 2 hours (dosing 12 instead) also, for the alk, should I have it dose 1 mL every 5 hours or like 3 every 12 hours? Any help

What kind of doser you have?
The smaller the amounts which a spread over a 24hr period the better it is.
Dose ALK and CAL with 20 min interfalls in the sump

I've got my Alk dosing every hour on the hour, 5 ml/day. And Ca every hour on the half hour, 10ml/day. As Diesel said the smaller increments spread out all day is best.

What size tank? You should always dose CA and ALK in equal amounts.

WoW!! that's a big difference Alk at 5 and Cal at 20 per hr.

No it was a typo. I fixed it. 5ml/Alk and 10ml/Ca. Plus I dose kalk in my ato. dang fat fingers got me on the iPhone key pad
