so most people retire their dosers after switching over to a calcium reactor.

My question is, what creative uses are there for dosers after switching over to a CRX, aside from the obvious water change one?

curious to hear people's answers, since calcium and alk are already taken care of.

Trace elements, there are some liquid foods, kalkwasser, mag unless you added it to carx.

I went to DOS unit
I Low dose mag at .5 ml @ 6 cycles and other dude for aminos (1 gal bottle of acro power)

don't you have to stir the aminos though?
Nope. That’s the reason I chose acro power. It's a very thin homogeneous solution that doesnt even need to be mixed or stirred and does not settle.

Depending on what your tank needs you could dose;

In a low nutrient system
Nitrogen
Phosphorous

Lanthimun chloride in a higher PO4 system with the tubing in the correct area of your sump

Potassium to keep a 400 ppm level, or so

95% calcium reactor 5% dosing to fine tune using dos and trident.
