Dosing 2 part starting to crystallize

I dose aquaforest Cal and Alk. I just refilled my dosing containers today and I noticed the alk solution had started to crystallize in the container. Not my dosing container but the original gallon I use to fill my container. About a meatball sized chunk. I used the last of the alk solution and tossed it.

I assume that solution was still ok to use? It was the last I had so I used it and just ordered more comes in a week.

Figured I would ask to double check its ok

It precipitated out. I would watch your alk.

You are probably dosing slightly less than you think you are, because a bunch ended up in that crystal ball instead of in your tank.

So watch out that your alkalinity doesnt rise if you just keep your current dose with a new bottle.
