Dosing 2 part with Kalk ATO

Ok so I'm getting my calc Alk and Mag all the way I want. I'm setting up to dose 2 part with dosing pumps but I currently run kalkwasser in my ATO. Do I need to stop adding kalkwasser to my ATO to dose two part? Can I still use the Kalk to maintain some of my Alk and use my doser to do the rest?

After i got my doser dialed in i quit using kalk. Using the 2 part additives keep levels where i want them.

Why do you want to do 2 part if the ATO Kalkwasser is keeping your numbers the way you want? I only started using 2 part when the ATO kalkwasser became inadequate. Unless you want to quit using kalkwasser altogether.

That makes it easy. You have two options.
1. Keep the kalk, and start 2 part at a low dose. The requirements are different for every tank, so you'll have to figure out yourself what you need. Just keep checking parameters twice a week or so, see where you're at, and adjust only the 2 part dosing.
2. Stop the kalk completely and use 2 part only. You'll have to start the 2 part at a higher dose than option 1, but you'll still need regular and frequent parameter checks until you figure out exactly how much you need to dose to keep things stable.

A lot of people, myself included, eventually stop using kalkwasser and go purely 2 art. It just simplifies things.
