So I'm switching from kalkwaser to brs two part and wanted some advice on what dose I should start out with. it's a 150gl a 30gl sump. mixed reef. about 9 sps and 12 sps. no colonies just decent sized frags. my dkh is 8, and my cal is 430.
I know no one can give me a definite answer, just looking for a ballpark number to stay from.
thanks

No reason why you can't dose both kalk and 2 part. Actually beneficial. I don't think anyone here can give you any definitive answer here without knowing what your current Ca & Alk readings are and how much they fluctuate day to day. Start with test kits for each and keep a diary for a few days to get a grip on that first. Good luck.

The BRS calculator is pretty good about getting you to a starting point. Test, Test, Test and go slowly!;)
