Dosing Alkalinity & Calcium

Hi fellow reefers. My tank is still pretty new and don't need to dose at the moment. I do want to be ready when the time comes.

I've purchased the Neptune DOS with the Dual Reservoir. Any recommendation on which Alkalinity & Calcium product I should be using?

There are a variety of good methods, and since you have elected a dual reservoir and dosing pump, I presume that means you want to dose a two part system (which is fine, but is only one of several options).

As to brand of two part, there are many good ones, such as ESV B-ionic if you want a commercial brand, and DIY mixes if you are more cost focussed.

Thank you for the tip and suggestion. Question on ESV B-Ionic. Is there another word for Alkalinity? BRS sells six ESV products, but none of them are Alkalinity.

Never mind. ESV B-Ionic Calcium Buffer System is Calcium & Alkalinity package.

Yes. It's a fine brand, but others are fine too.
