I am not sure if this is normal but we have been dosing more KH than Ca. We are dosing 44ml of Ca, 55ml of KH and 48ml of Mag a day. We have been using Seachem Reef Fusion 2 part and Kent Tech Magnesium. Tested few times this week and alkalinity has been stable at 7dKH but want it to be a little higher at least 8dkh. So my question is, when dosing 2 part, does it have to be a 1:1 ratio? How do we increase our KH to 8?

My test results this morning was
Salinity - 1.025
PH - 7.97
Ca - 420
KH - 7
Mag - 1380

For my sake. Your going to dose more at an equal ratio to find stability?

For quite awhile I was dosing more kH than Ca. It slowly leveled out over time. Now it's switched and I'm dosing more Ca. I don't know if I'll ever know why :| lol

You sure that isn't just dosing pump flow differences?

It may be! I'm using the DŌS, it's probably a good idea to recalibrate the pumps.
Yup. Recalibrate the pumps and check your test kits. Figured my test kit eas kind off so I went to the LFS. Although they used API test kits, I was relieved when they said my kH was at 8. My new test kits on the way on [emoji106]
