Dosing alot more calcium

The last week I would test then add extra and test again but it never goes up . I just changed my dosing from 110ml/day to 65ml which is the same as my alk il see what happens.

You lowered the dose?

Wondering if maybe my magnesium test is wrong and it low right now and is why my calcium won't raise past that point. A new tank with all new water should be at ok levels though one would think

Nope, that is not ever the case if you add enough.

If you add enough calcium you can raise it, regardless of the magnesium, as long as you are not pushing alkalinity higher at the same time.

That's a fine plan as long as you monitor it long term.

I usually test every other day but now I'm at work again for 8 days so it has to coast,and my wife will only check every 4th day..any more she gets ticked at me.
