Does anyone out there dose Amino Acids for LPS? If so, what brand do you use? How big is your tank and how much/often do you dose? Do you dose vodka, use pellets, etc?

Considering adding AA to my regimen as my nutrients are very low (0.01 ppm po4, 0 nitrate/nitrite) and my acans have been suffering.

Looking for as much info as possible... I saw some that is LPS specific on MarineDepot but is this necessary? They're WAY more expensive than Brightwell and the rest.

I use the Elos starter pack that has the pro skimmer, amino acids and zooplankton.

My water volume is 100 gallons but since my display is 60 I do 4 drops of each.

Since I am bad at water changes I have noticed a difference especially with the sps and the pro skimmer

I have been using the Elos for about a month now and my bottles still seem full... hope that helps

KZ, makes an amino acid for LPS too. I dont keep too many LPS though, so never tried it.

brightwell sells amino acids I use it but dont know if its doing anything positive LOL

Everything I have read, if you are feeding proper food you are adding more than enough amino acids and vitamins that corals need. If it were me, I would just start feeding a bit more and see where that goes or even spot feed.

Not to sure of the brand not home at the moment but I use about 3 drops a week in about 200 gal don't really see much of a diff

I was dosing brightwell and either I did not pay enough attention to see the results or it did not work the way I was expecting. Not saying it's a bad product.
