Is this ok to use. And how much should I add?

Did you see there are 2 ingredients? Not sure what the surfactant is, but you don’t need that. I wouldn’t use it. I think adding a shrimp is a good idea.

"Surfactants may act as detergents, wetting agents, emulsifiers, foaming agents, and dispersants. "

I would not use, find some with no surfactants or use a shrimp.

Happy reefing!

Going to assume you are doing a fishless cycle possibly with a bacteria accelerator like Dr. Tim's? If so then you dose Ammonia to 2 ppm. They sell a bottle, about 4 bucks, that is what I've used. You can search the forums here what others used instead but I believe it is from Ace Hardware if you have one near you. Search on Ace Clean Scent Ammonia 32 oz. Liquid For Multi-Surface(10183A). I believe that is an alternative. 2 bucks.

I personally used Dr. Tim's ammonia even though it was double the price.
