At what time scale does evaporation begin to significantly effect dosing amounts? I have sealed containers with the only air draw being the lack of seal around a mur lok bulkhead.

Side question, about how strong must the solutions be to eliminate bacterial growth within the container? I know halophiles exist, but afaik few are common household strains. In addition to there being few to no other dissolved solids and kept in a dark cabinet, I don't think there should be much cause for concern, but if anyone has experience that would be great.

The only dosing solutions that have a bacterial concern are those with organic matter in them, such as amino acids. None of the salt solutions (alk, calcium, magnesium, etc. ) have any such concern.

The containers you are suggesting won't evaporate enough to detectable impact dosing. You'd likely need to evaporate 5-10% of the water in a dosing container to be able to see any difference in the tank parameters based on dosing a tiny bit more each day.
