Dosing and Water Changes

Should I turn my dosing pump off the day I do my water change, or should I leave it on and water change after it doses for the day? Sorry if this is a dumb question

Leave it on. Assuming your new water matches the tanks parameters it should have a negligible effect.

The saltwater im using has higher parameters as I’m in the process of switching mixes. Should I leave it off for the day then?

If you think something gets higher than you want when doing a water change, it certainly fine to turn dosing off.
