Dosing Calcium and ALK

Hello reefers,
For many years I’ve done the basic when it comes to dosing calcium and ALK. All I have used is seachem powder product. One table spoon basically for my tank a day for ALK and one table spoon a day for calcium, I did these on opposite days except Sunday didn’t dose any. I did this way because back bottle said basic way (and been lazy) and I know your not suppose dose same writhin certain time. So I’m looking into to other products to use. Any ideas? And methods? Product recommendation? I’m looking to get my act todgether and do big over haul on my tank and make some big changes. Was considering the aquavitro products and go liquid route, was thinking if that be better.
