I know that and experienced much better growth with sps when i dose 2-part regularly. I do not keep much sps nowadays. I wonder if it is as important for me to contimue to dose 2-part for lps. I plan on doing more frequent water changes. What do you guys think?

I would only dose to keep it at the recommended leverls in between water changes if you see any drop off. If you don't see any drop off when you test then I wouldn't dose that week or day...

I wouldn't dose without testing for it.
LPS do need calcium, but dosing calcium can lower your alkalinity so you need to test for both. IME alkalinity levels are more important than calcium levels, but both need to be kept within ideal ranges and without much fluctuation.

I would test and dose accordingly. Dosing calcium should not affect alk although they do correlate with each other. Magnesium is another thing you should be testing for.
