Hey,
I have a question on 2 part dosing. I know that alkalinity fluctuates easily. I have been dosing 2 part for a year or so. I use a timer that has 8 different timer functions. I currently have been dosing alkalinity 5x a day while dosing calcium 3x a day (dosing both parts equally overall). As my dosing requirements have gone up, I was wondering if it's possible to dose alkalinity 6x a day and calcium just 2x a day in order to reduce fluctuations in alkalinity. I was just wondering if dosing calcium just twice a day for longer periods of time will cause calcium to fluctuate. Thanks.

Yes, calcium can be dosed much less frequently. It changes less on a percentage basis, and the exact value is not very important as long as it is in the range of about 400-550 ppm.
