I have a ton of KH2PO4 and KNO3 since I have a large Planted aquarium. My reef tank is 75.5 US Gallons and I have been testing really low on nitrates and phosphates so I was going to look into dosing those to keep my tank happy.
I am using http://www.theplantedtank.co.uk/calculator.htm for the calculator
For Phosphates I have 4.00grams KH2PO4 / 1000ml a 10ml dose is 0.1ppm of Phosphates
For Nitrates I have 46.50grams KNO3 / 1000ml a 10ml dose is 1.0 ppm of nitrates.
Does this seem reasonable? I am trying to have some stickers made up with the instructions so I dont forget.
@Randy Holmes-Farley I think I saw some previous posts where you put a factor for the dose so wanted to make sure these were accurate.
Any concerns with dosing Potassium? Also how quickly can you raise Phosphates and Nitrates?
Thanks,
